Ken Anderson, a Realtor in Fort Collins for over 38 years is a dynamic leader in real estate sales. With his previous experience as a loan officer with World Savings, he can also offer his clients financial as well as real estate experience. Ken was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming and moved to Colorado where he attended Colorado State University, graduating with a B.A. degree in 1974. He enjoys spending time with his daughter Caitlin and son Sam, as well as gardening, water and snow skiing, and music.
Amanda Weaver is a Colorado native and has called Fort Collins home since 1991. Amanda has been a member of the Board of Realtors since 1997. As an active member in the Fort Collins Board of Realtors, she is involved with the activities of the real estate community. Amanda is also a graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Finance and Real Estate. From the mountains and lakes, to the convenient shopping centers throughout the area - Amanda has checked them all out! As a proud member of the Fort Collins community, Amanda enjoys welcoming others to the area she calls home!
Amanda and Ken are both Graduates of the Real Estate Institute, a special designation received after many additional hours of classroom training. Ken is also a CRS, or Certified Residential Specialist, a designation held by less than 5% of all real estate agents nationwide. This designation is the result of numerous hours of classroom attendance and a proven production record over a period of years.

Although every purchase of a home involves a degree of compromise, the process begins with the buyer's preferences. When you are working with a real estate agent, it is important that you give your agent a clear idea which of your criteria are flexible and which items you really must have in your new home.
If you prefer a specific location, for example, discuss why you want to live in that neighborhood. The agent might be able to suggest alternatives areas which offer the same amenities or convenience to your office. How important is size? Do you really need four bedrooms or would three bedrooms work, if there is a den for your home office? How much are you willing to correct with redecorating or remodeling? Are you willing to expand your price range by using an adjustable rate mortgage to increase your buying power?
The agent will ask you a lot of questions so that they can use your time most efficiently by showing you houses that meet your criterion as a buyer.
